Seminar with Yoshigasaki Sensei
From August 17 to 23, 2014, the Associazione Ticinese Ki Aikido Balerna hosted its traditional summer seminar in Bosco Gurin.
This year's participants came from Switzerland, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Finland, and Belgium.
Michele and Olmo from the Balerna Dojo were invited to participate as "uchideshi."
Govert, Bernhard, Yvette, and Deborah handled the transport of the mats, the additional raw materials for the kitchen, and the remaining utensils.
Fortunately, they had strong young helpers in Michele and Olmo.
One focus of the seminar was Kenkodo.
Yoshigasaki Sensei explained Kenkotaiso and Aikitaiso in detail from a health perspective.
He also presented his concept of Teateho, how it works, what its purpose is, and how it differs from therapy with a professional therapist or doctor.
All of this was practiced practically and intensively.

On this year's day off, most of us went to the Grossalphütte.
The sun wasn't too hot, so the climb wasn't too strenuous.
Up top, we feasted on food and drink, enjoyed the magnificent view, and the cheerful company.
