Acting means expressing yourself in each environment. So, when you act, you express yourself, and thus create your life. Acting means expressing oneself in every environment, so I create my life in every moment.

Question: "But there is the right moment for every action. Isn't it?"
No, no. Acting is not action. Actions are the physical part of acting.

That's why there is no action in the theater, but in cinema. Because in the film there is material, there is filming. Filming means transferring reality to material. Therefore, there is "action" and "cut". Action is not acting. There is no action in the theatre. In the theater, people only act. In the film there is only action. In film, they transfer reality to film. That's material. They cut the film and put it together. So, if there is a good actor, they can continue two three minutes without cutting. But when there is a bad actor, every five seconds they cut.
In theater you can't cut. You have to act there, ten minutes or thirty minutes.
It's the same in life. You can't cut it and put it together. Therefore, acting is not action. That is important. I act in every moment.
So, how should we act, how should we express ourselves? In a familiar environment, you know how to act. But when someone attacks, it becomes difficult. Why?
"Because we didn't expect the attack?"
No, because we have no experience. In normal life, we have experience. Today everything is about the same as yesterday. This year everything is about the same as ten years ago. But when someone attacks, the first time, there is no experience.
When there is no experience, it is very difficult to act appropriately. Practicing a martial art creates a little something like experience. Then we can act better. This is called education. All education happens like this. Education means creating a quasi-experience before the real experience happens.
