Kumitachi

Kumitachi

1. MAAI
2. KOTE UCHI - only attack

4. KOTE UCHI - counter with tsuki
5. KOTE UCHI - final control by Nage

Before the counter-tsuki by Uke can fully unfold, Nage cuts the Ki of Uke. Sensibly, Uke protects himself by going into hanmi hantachi and protecting himself with the Bokken. (In the last sequence of the video 4 is missing!)

Form of Uke
Uke goes down with his/her body in hanmi handachi. The form of the arms and the bokken are preserved. The sword is not stretched upwards.
